Question : How can one eradicate ignorance?
Answer : By understanding about realities as they really are: only nama and rupa (consciousness and non-consciousness) and not the self or other beings and objects, one can accumulate conditions for sati (awareness of realities as they really are) to arise and accumulate wisdom about realities in the immediate moment. Thus the sati can develop to the point that wisdom realizes that all are indeed only realities and not the self, others, or any object.
The understanding of the teachings can lead to the correct practice of experiencing realities which in turn could lead to the accumulation of wisdom to the point where the wisdom eradicates ignorance, level by respective level, and ultimately frees us from all sufferings and impermanence.
