The Stages of Vipassana - 14th stage of vipassana nana

The fourteenth stage of vipassana nana is Path knowledge (magga nana).
When gotrabhu has fallen away it is succeeded by the path-consciousness of the sotapanna and this citta transcends the state of the ordinary person and reaches the state of the noble person, the ariyan. This citta eradicates defilements in accordance with the stage of enlightenment that has been reached.
